L’Académie Européenne de Musique Ancienne de Vannes évolue !
Organisée autour d’ateliers de lutherie et de fabrication d’instruments à vents, la « Vannes Early Music Academy » accueillera des jeunes étudiants musiciens et des professionnels. Durant 5 jours, du 21 au 25 octobre, ils pourront fabriquer un hautbois ancien, apprendre à régler et entretenir un violon, un violoncelle ou un clavecin avec des spécialistes de ces instruments. Encadrés par les musiciens membres de l’ensemble Les Basses Réunies dirigé par le violoncelliste Bruno Cocset (ensemble en résidence au 3e étage de l’Hôtel de Limur et à l’origine du Centre de Musique Ancienne de Vannes), tous ces artistes se produiront lors de concerts à l’Auditorium des Carmes et à l’Hôtel de Limur.
Une belle mise en valeur du patrimoine musical et architectural Vannetais !

The Vannes Early Music Academy is changing!
Organised around workshops in violin making and wind instrument construction, the Vannes Early Music Academy will be welcoming music students and professionals. For 5 days, from 21 to 25 October, they will be able to make an old oboe, and learn how to tune and maintain a violin, cello or harpsichord with specialists in these instruments. Under the guidance of musicians from the ensemble Les Basses Réunies, directed by cellist Bruno Cocset (the ensemble is in residence on the 3rd floor of the Hôtel de Limur and was behind the creation of the Centre de Musique Ancienne de Vannes), all these artists will perform in concert at the Auditorium des Carmes and the Hôtel de Limur.

- Harpsichord: one Italian or English piece from the 17th century + one piece of your choice by J.S. Bach
- Violin: one solo piece by J.S. Bach of your choice + one 17th or 18th century Italian sonata
- Oboe: free program
- Cello: one solo piece by J.S. Bach of your choice + one 18th century Italian sonata
- Clavichord & Pianoforte: one slow movement and one fast movement of your choice from Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach, Mozart, Haydn, Beethoven
